Quiet the mind for greater wellbeing

I’m so proud of myself for using this course as a step to cultivating my own mindfulness practice. I now meditate daily for 20-30 mins and I love it. Meditation is now an essential part of my morning routine and I feel so much calmer, balanced, grounded and in tune.

My Meditation journey

Over the past thirty years, I have studied Buddhist, Vedic and non denominational forms of meditation and mindfulness in India, Tibet, Thailand and the UK.

I became a teacher of meditation and mindfulness under the tutelage of Zen Master Julian Daizan Roshi from the rigorous Rinzai tradition of Zen.

I now teach three meditation courses which, for now,  are all taught online.

Meditation Class

Dinah has a unique ability to hold a group in a safe nurturing space, while allowing each individual to have their own experience and enjoy the process. I enjoyed coming together each week and being comfortable in our own homes to fully deepen into the new meditation each week

Slow down to achieve more

I have been  meditating for over thirty years.  Not consistently. In fact 'How can I be more consistent?' is often the first question I am asked by my students. Life can be so full of distractions and conflicting priorities that meditation can often be one of the first areas of our life that stops. The irony is, that it is exactly when life starts to become super busy and stressful that we need a meditation practice more.

There is some interesting research led by Dr Kramer at the University of Kent's School of Psychology that shows mindfulness meditation slows down time and produces the feeling that short periods of time last longer." Just what we need when life is busy and we feel we don't have enough time!
